  1. Hi Jill,

Why did you include NWLC in your links for additional resources?

    Thanks!

    1. I included NWLC--National Women's Law Center because they have a very comprehensive child care policy division and provide great briefs that are valuable for early childhood professionals. Thanks so much for asking!! I love to share new resources. I hope you get connected.

  2. Hi Jill,
I enjoyed reading a few pages from The National Women’s Law Center. I also think that making laws in favor of women is necessary to protect them and promote their rights at every stage of the legal process (NWLC) because it ultimately benefits children and families, thus society. I hope that your path will lead to Washington DC where you will draft bold laws regarding health and child care, a couple of areas that need attention.
Many organizations have important roles in children’s education and care. Child Care Aware of America, which you listed as one of your resources, aims to better organize America’s education and serve all children with the promotion of national policies (NACCRRA).
I will add both sites to my list of resources. Thank you!

  3. I almost did the NAEYC position statements as well. However I thought that we that are probably everyones go-to for information and decided to seek out ones that may offer new experiences for resources. Thanks for posting them, now I dont have to go searching for them very far or hard for my trainings!
